Ruddershift is a servicemember-first, 3rd party SkillBridge provider that provides advisory services to deliver customized solutions that support small business SkillBridge participation. The team at Ruddershift is instrumental in helping military servicemembers transition to employment in small businesses thanks to their hands-on approach with the Department of Defense’s SkillBridge program. Ruddershift is one of VetSec’s community partners.

The only cybersecurity bootcamp endorsed by VetSec, and for good reason. The Level Effect Cyber Defense Analyst Program gets results. This 14-week curriculum include 3 foundational courses that are free before you start, 8 weeks focusing on SOC Tier 1 & 2 competencies, and 5 weeks in a virtual Security Operations Center. This includes reporting live to a SOC Manager one per week for ticket reviews, and culminates in the Cyber Defense Certified Professional examination. Normally offered at a $5,000 cost, Level Effect offers two seats each cohort free of charge to VetSec members, and offers all VetSec members a $500 discount.
— Immersive Labs
Immersive Labs is partnered with Accenture to fill one million entry-level jobs in the next decade by providing a free, robust cybersecurity platform that not only trains participants but also engages them in reality-based exercises to prove their skills, which unlocks jobs with hiring organizations within the platform. Through the Cyber Million program’s collaboration with VetSec, VetSec has formed a Cyber Million team to help servicemembers complete the program and unlock hiring opportunities.

As part of the $100 million Splunk Pledge, Splunk donates free courses to individuals from underserved communities and groups underrepresented in tech. They help train the workforce of tomorrow by equipping veterans and former service members in the United States with the Splunk skills they need to land well-paying jobs in the industry.
— 13Cubed
The 13Cubed YouTube channel was founded in 2017 by Richard Davis, with the goal of creating high quality and high production value digital forensics and information security training videos. In 2023, 13Cubed Studios LLC was formed to continue development of the channel and to provide the community with affordable online and on-demand information security training courses and associated certification.
Through a generous donation, 13Cubed is providing a single free course seat quarterly as well as a discount to any other member wishing to purchase their courses.

Cisco Networking Academy offers certification-aligned courses in topics like cybersecurity, networking, and Python. Thanks to the Open University and their Cisco Academy Support Centre, VetSec is able to offer the courses from the Cisco Networking Academy to all VetSec members.
